| Kit | Mixed volume | Covers at ⅛" (coating) |
|---|---|---|
| 16 oz kit | 16 fl oz | ~1.6 sq ft |
| 32 oz kit | 32 fl oz | ~3.2 sq ft |
| 1/2 gallon kit | 64 fl oz | ~6.4 sq ft |
| 1 gallon kit | 128 fl oz | ~12.8 sq ft |
| 2 gallon kit | 256 fl oz | ~25.6 sq ft |
| 3 gallon kit | 384 fl oz | ~38.4 sq ft |
"1 gallon kit" usually means 1 gallon total (½ gal resin + ½ gal hardener for 1:1), but some brands list each part; read the listing. Deep-pour kits are often 1.5 or 3 gallons because of 2:1 or 3:1 ratios.
Roughly 10 fl oz per square foot per ⅛" coat, plus 10–15%. A 24×48" table (8 sq ft) needs about 92 fl oz, so a 1 gallon kit.
Usually cheaper per ounce, but mixed resin has a shelf life of about a year once opened, so don't overbuy.
